I'm working on what feels like the millionth draft of my novel, and I think it's getting pretty good. I intend to put up the first chapter here soon, but for the time being it's not quite ready, which may be code for I'm not quite ready. However, the current synopsis runs something like this:

All the Good Parents on Long Dead (No, this is not the final title. I think.)
Thomas believes in the importance of family. In the fifth year of searching for his uncle, he visits a back-alley psychic's apartment looking for the next lead, or at least a hint – anything to get him back on Uncle Paul's trail before his mother dies. Instead he gets a job caring for the psychic's charge, a twelve-year-old blind boy without a name. After the psychic gets herself kidnapped by megalomaniac Andrew Baker, Thomas finds himself dodging the police as he drags the boy across the country to save a woman he barely believes in.

Sounds lame awesome, right? Keep an eye open for the first chapter!

I'm also working on short stories right now, and still working on some fanfiction, because it's stress-free, fun writing.
